This painting was born from a desire to create something spiritual and uplifting. Using deep, rich blues and radiant gold, I painted the Star of David, and at its center I inscribed the Hebrew word “The Beginning (הַתְּחָלָה)”.
The star itself is outlined with layered strips of canvas, while the periphery is framed with textured golden tones. These details give the piece a timeless quality — almost antique, weathered by history — yet it radiates warmth and renewal.
As I painted the word הַתְּחָלָה, I reflected on its six Hebrew letters, mirroring the six points of the star and the six days of Creation. Just as our Creator took time to build the world — and even rested on the seventh day — this piece reminds us that growth and transformation are not rushed. Every beginning deserves patience, faith, and grace.
