(four classes a month)
This engaging and age-appropriate art class introduces young students to the world of painting through imagination, and self-expression. Each session is designed to be interactive, fun, and confidence-building, while gently introducing foundational artistic and communication skills.
Class Structure:
Creative Warm-Up
Simple prompts, visual examples, or short discussions to spark imagination (colors, emotions, seasons, animals, etc.).
Theme Exploration & Selection
The class will explore a theme together (e.g., “My Happy Place,” “Under the Sea,” “Dream World”). Younger students may be guided more directly, while older students can contribute ideas.
Art Creation (Main Activity)
Students will create their own painting using acrylics (or mixed media), expressing their personal interpretation of the theme. Emphasis is placed on creativity rather than perfection.
Storytelling & Reflection
Verbal sharing (“Tell us about your painting”)
Sharing & Presentation
Students will present their artwork in a supportive environment, helping build confidence, communication skills, and peer appreciation.
